I joined Little, Brown and Company in 2023. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with incredible authors, including Rickey Fayne, Nathaniel Ian Miller, Alejandro Puyana, Leslie Jamison, Joe Wilkins, Nancy Goldstone, Elin Hilderbrand, Michael Connelly, Dan Slater, Luis Alberto Urrea, and Adam Haslett.
I’m building my list at Little, Brown with an eye for Black literary fiction that has a speculative bent: stories that celebrate the experiences of the Black diaspora, centering Black joy more so than Black trauma. I’m also interested in speculative LGBTQ+ fiction. I enjoy character-driven stories, voicey prose, vividly rendered settings with a strong sense of place, and an immersive, fast-moving plot.
