I’m Beck Leigh, literary manager at BAM Management. BAM is a full service bi-coastal talent management company that reps both actors and authors.
Consider me the literary world’s coven leader—I gravitate toward the dark, the complex, and the beautifully unsettling. If your work lingers in the shadows of the human experience—psychological depth, generational trauma, mental health, dark humor, or family dysfunction—I want to see it. I love literary fiction that isn’t afraid to get messy and non-fiction that challenges the way we see the world. Give me memoirs that haunt, biographies that reveal, and history that feels eerily relevant.
Thrillers that get under your skin? Horror that makes you think as much as it terrifies? Absolutely. Just don’t bring me anything sugarcoated—I’m not here for fluff.
Not My Vibe:
YA, middle grade, children’s books—leave the bedtime stories at the door.
Romance, summer reads, or anything that feels like a beach vacation.
Right-wing politics? Hard pass.
Religious themes—spirituality is fine, but organized religion can stay in the pews.
If your work is raw, fearless, and refuses to look away from the darker corners of life, I’m listening.
