I love literary fiction that isn’t afraid to get messy and non-fiction that challenges the way we see the world. Give me memoirs that haunt, biographies that reveal, and history that feels eerily relevant.

Thrillers that get under your skin? Horror that makes you think as much as it terrifies? Absolutely. Just don’t bring me anything sugarcoated—I’m not here for fluff.

 YA, middle grade, children’s books—leave the bedtime stories at the door.
 Romance, summer reads, or anything that feels like a beach vacation.
 Right-wing politics? Hard pass.
 Religious themes—spirituality is fine, but organized religion can stay in the pews.
