Growing up on the islands, I was immersed in captivating stories—some eerie, some funny, and many full of fantasy. It nurtured my love for a wide range of genres.
​That’s why I seek immersive, atmospheric tales across genres, especially historical fiction—gothic or moody narratives, BIPOC romances rooted in heritage, and magical realism with political nuance. I appreciate feminist retellings that lift up overlooked voices and explore themes of identity and ancestry. I also enjoy folklore-inspired horror that blends beauty and terror.
Above all, I am attracted to books that linger in my soul and stay with me long after I turn the last page.
