Bio

Wishlist
Hana acquires hooky, high concept fiction across all children’s age levels. She loves gentle and sentimental picture books with “indie bookstore” art; mischievous, precocious, and funny middle grade; and swoony, voice-y, atmospheric YA. Hana will also consider the occasional adult submission, mainly commercial and crossover romance/romantasy.Â
Regardless of genre, Hana prioritizes punchy voice, big feelings, and immersive settings (time and place, please!), and is especially excited by anything weird, subversive, absurd, and bizarre—and anything truly laugh-out-loud funny. She loves a love story, especially if it’s unexpected, messy, and irresistible. She’s always looking for magical realism, tingly romance, campy horror, clever wordplay, irreverent twists, genre benders, sharp social commentary, and underrepresented voices from diverse backgrounds.
