I’m currently an editorial assistant on the Flatiron Books editorial staff looking to build a list of literary and contemporary fiction by and about traditionally underrepresented populations. In particular, I’m interested in queer (especially lesbian) narratives, stories anchored in the global south, narratives of obsession, complex depictions of female friendships, unreliable narrators, and stories where something previously hidden comes to light. I’m also captivated by campus novels and coming-of-age narratives, as well as speculative fiction in the vein of Our Wives Under the Sea.
I’m also selectively interested in narrative nonfiction, specifically memoirs about women, sexuality, and people grappling with belonging.
