I joined Thompson Literary Agency in 2017 to seek out bold new voices in literary fiction and narrative nonfiction. My list includes critically acclaimed and award winning writers such as Lee Matalone, Ari Braverman, Peace Adzo Medie, Nichole Perkins, Destiny O. Birdsong, Candice Wuehle, Janice Obuchowski, and Katie Barnes. I received my B.A. in Anthropology and English Literature from Johns Hopkins University and my M.A. in the Humanities from the University of Chicago. My studies in modernism, sociolinguistics, and affect theory continue to influence my reading tastes. I consider myself an extremely editorial agent, having launched my publishing career as an acquiring editor at Simon & Schuster.

Lately I have loved reading Joy Williams, Kelly Link, Catherine Lacey, Deborah Levy, Bernardine Evaristo, Charles Yu, and Mecca Jamilah Sullivan. Some favorite TV shows are Derry Girls, Poker Face, Kindred, and Reservation Dogs.
