My Manuscript Wish List®
I work on all age groups of children’s books, from picture books to YA. Across age groups and genres I tend to gravitate towards warmer, more upbeat stories and am always happy to see humor and a little bit of magic and mischief. I have a soft spot for books about science (fiction and nonfiction). I’m interested in nonfiction for all ages that fills in the very glaring gaps of history books. I’m actively looking for stories from perspectives I haven’t seen before—more marginalized writers, and especially Indigenous writers–and I tend to shy away from high fantasy and rhyming picture books.
