My Manuscript Wish List®
I’m a self-professed publishing nerd. As a kid, I would tag along with my mom when she went to college, and settle in for the day in a cozy leather chair in the dean’s office and just read. Nothing brings me greater joy than to fall into a really great book.
I am actively building my young adult list at the moment, though I also tend to represent picture book authors and illustrators as well as graphic novels.
Young Adult: You know that feeling when you read a book you love and you just squee with joy at all the delicious tension? Yeah, I am looking for that. I love a well written book, and I love high concept stories. Take me from my everyday life. Some books I have repped in this space include A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow by New York Times bestselling author Laura Taylor Namey, These Feathered Flames by Alexandra Overy, and the upcoming Time and Time Again by Lit Up author Chatham Greenfield.
Some things I would love to see:
-an atmospheric mermaid novel
-Ren Fair book
-an epic sweeping romances
And if you have something that is : Sex And The City meets Lady Whistledown meets Sex Lives Of College Girls, GIMME.
Picture Books: This is the area I tend to be pickiest in. And I read with my gut so I usually don’t know what I love until I see it.

Some Fun Facts About Me:
I can’t whistle. The few times I have managed, I am so off tune it is sad. I love to quilt; there is something very freeing creatively about it. I could eat tacos every night of the week and be perfectly happy.

compulsive YA read. You know the one: it’s the book that haunts you after you finish and you re-read it every year. I don’t know what it looks like, but that book fuels my hunt for great projects.
My favorites include…
Some of my favorite books: Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce, A Stranger to Command by Sherwood Smith, anything Sarah J. Maas. To be honest, this would just be an easier question to answer if I could drag someone to a bookstore and show them in person. Some of my favorite shows: Bob’s Burgers, Ted Lasso, Charmed, Bridgerton. I am move for the characters in TV than the plot of films.
