Think: protagonists with the absolute, charming audacity of Anthony Lockwood in Lockwood and Co., and the grit of Alizeh in This Woven Kingdom. Bonus points if your WIP is: contemporary YA talking about larger issues OR  SFF YA set in something magic, urban or cozy fantasy or not.

All Suspense All the Time

I like to learn while I’m being entertained and/or frightened. So unusual plots involving unusual characters interest me. Social justice is a concern; manuscripts exploring that topic get extra attention. Climate-change plots always get read first. Anyone have a nurse as an amateur detective?
