My Manuscript Wish List®
I am primarily interested in middle grade, young adult, and new adult fiction. I enjoy contemporary literature, RomComs, literary fiction and novels in verse. I look for writing that explores diverse experiences with elements of intersectionality. I’m drawn to stories that take you on a journey through growth and I love a good friendship story! I’d currently like to see:
- Stories featuring BIPOC leads
- Ace-spec stories
- Stories featuring Muslim characters
- Black Women’s Fiction
- Latinx Middle Grade
- Stories featuring diverse LGBTQ+ leads (no heavy trauma please)
For non-fiction, I’m interested in writing derived from performing arts or passion projects, pop culture social comentary, minority entrepreneurs, LGBTQ+ experiences and discussions of mental health in minority communities.
Fun facts about me:
I am based in San Diego, California and have attended Comic-Con every year since 2012 (I even cosplay)! I also write poetry occasionally (I prefer the term poetess to poet) and I am dancer with formal training in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop.

My favorites include…
For TV, I love a show that is heavily stemmed in friendship like Boy Meets World, Netflix’s The BabySitters Club and Julie and the Phantoms. Black or POC women or teens trying to navigate normal lives like Moesha, Insecure, and Pose. And most shows with strong supernatural elements have my heart like Charmed (1998), Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Lovecraft Country and Supernatural.
For books, I am currently obsessed with Kristina Forest, L. Divine, Ebony LaDelle, George M Johnson and Danez Smith. I love romance novels with a magical element like the ones written by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Anya Bast, the fun of a Jasmine Guillory novel or the honesty of a Helen Hoang story.
