At Rosecliff Literary, we believe great storytelling is seasonal. That’s why we craft seasonal MSWLs to match the unique energy and mood of each time of year. From the introspection of winter to the bold energy of summer, our wishlists reflect the kinds of narratives we’re most excited about right now. We’re always drawn to bold, genre-mashing stories with unexpected twists, larger-than-life characters, and a balance of adventure and heart.

We’re especially interested in narratives that elevate Jewish queerness, explore intergenerational trauma, or offer fresh takes on dark academia—especially with older protagonists. Speculative fiction blending magical realism with grounded plots, and stories diving into curses, haunted objects, or buried family secrets, are exactly what we’re looking for.

Submission Guidelines

Submissions should be emailed to https://querymanager.com/query/jessicaberg

We welcome submissions via Query Tracker. Please include a query letter and a one-page synopsis. We do not require pages with the initial submission but if interested in your project, we request the full manuscript. We aim to respond within 12 weeks. Due to the nature of submissions we receive, we regret we cannot provide personalized feedback at this time due to the high volume of submissions we receive.
