At Running Press, I acquire across the RP Adult, Studio, and Minis lists with a focus on RP Inspires and Studio. For RP Inspires, I am acquiring adult illustrated books and nonfiction in the categories of art and design, lifestyle, wellness, body/mind/spirit, and creative and personal development. For RP Studio, I am acquiring ancillary and original decks, guided journals, and other book-plus products. 

In art and design, I am especially interested in titles that make art more accessible to the general reader, craft and creativity books, and “reading” books that engage with the subject of art (like The Story of Art Without Men or Jerry Saltz’s Art is Life). She is also acquiring illustrated gift books across a range of subjects.  

In lifestyle, I am looking for books that explore how people actually live. I am interested in home design titles with a distinct style and a friendly approach, as well as travel titles that focus on a specific personality, place, or unique angle into a well-covered topic.  

In wellness and body/mind/spirit, I am looking for projects that ground spiritual or mystical ideas in embodied practices and practical applications, particularly modern takes on topics in this category that are deeply connected to nature and/or psychology and somatics. I am also especially interested in books that explore self-understanding as a pathway to understanding our relationships, communities, and the wider world. 

In creative and personal development, I am seeking wholly original takes on self-help for the modern era, including projects with a mental wellbeing framework; books that explore embodiment, self-trust, and emotional intelligence; and titles geared toward Gen Z and younger millennial readers. 

Across categories and formats, I am passionate about the interplay of content and package.
