My Manuscript Wish List®

Starting her career almost a decade ago, Lydia Stevens has brought her passion and drive to the publishing industry first as a writer and award-winning author, and second by pursuing positions within an internship with Creative Media Agency, and as an acquisitions assistant with the academic press, Anthem Press. Having completed her Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in English and Creative Writing, Lydia brought her education to her freelance developmental editorial work, Creative Content Critiquing and Consulting, where the manuscripts she has worked on have seen such awards as: The Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards, The International Chanticleer Book Awards, and several projects which have achieved bestseller status.

Lydia has worked with both fiction and nonfiction projects, and has a passion helping writers develop their craft, and she enjoys championing for fresh, unique voices with powerful stories to tell. Lydia loves learning about new topics, and is open to reviewing nonfiction proposals and manuscripts across a broad array of subjects.

Lydia’s work with Urano Publishing, an imprint of Ediciones Urano, has her driven to build a list in nonfiction titles ranging from Biographies, Cookbooks, Crafts/DIY, History, Humor, Journalism, LGBTQ, Memoir, Pop Culture, Psychology, Science, Sports, Travel, True Crime, and nonfiction projects which welcome underrepresented voices and minorities.
