Marilyn Biderman is Partner, Senior Literary Agent at the Transatlantic Literary Agency, where she has worked for nine happy and fulfilling years. Previously she worked on the publishing side as the VP, Director, Rights and Contracts at McClelland & Stewart. Her clients include Amanda Peters, whose debut novel, The Berry Pickers, won the Andrew Carnegie Medal of Excellence for Fiction, given by the American Library Association, and the Barnes and Noble Discovery Prize. The Berry Pickers has sold in 24 translation territories.
Fun facts about me:
My almost 14-year-old Labradoodle, Ruby, is a retired St John Ambulance Therapy dog. We worked with classes of autistic children, on the neurology unit of a downtown hospital, and at court, supporting witnesses as they gave retraumatizing testimony.
