Nicky Lovick worked in-house for a decade in Editorial for the top five. She then freelanced for another ten years, working for both traditional publishers and bestselling indies such as Andy Maslen and Jessa Hastings. She has now set up a books list at WGM.
Nicky is looking for adult fiction, including book club, crime and thrillers (especially destination), women’s fiction and romance (monster, mafia, sports, dark, dystopian, survivor, why choose? – and any other romance subgenre I’ve forgotten). She is keen to see books with high-concept hooks, speculative twists and genre mashups.
