My Manuscript Wish List®

I am actively looking to add to my roster of talented authors.

Currently I’m looking for:

  • Book club-worthy fiction that skews commercial
  • Women’s fiction
  • Historical fiction from diverse perspectives
  • LGBTQ+ stories—including romantic stories
  • Twisty, gripping with surprising endings (think Mary Kubica or Seraphina Nova Glass)
  • Stories with light fantasy or gothic elements, mild horror, and/or magical realism
  • Quirky female-driven fiction
  • Juicy dramas
  • Sweeping love stories
  • Feminist takes on old tropes
  • Voices from underrepresented groups
  • Stories that keep me guessing, voice-y narratives, and immersive, atmospheric settings
  • Light, grounded Sci-fi elements

Agents: if you think you have a project that would be a good fit for Graydon House’s list, please do reach out!

I am not a good fit for:

  • Romcoms/Romance without a broader plot
  • Procedurals
  • Misogyny
  • Anything that leans too literary
  • Stories centering around police officers or military
  • Gore, body horror
  • Erotica
  • High Fantasy
  • Space operas
  • Childrens fiction (MG, YA, PB)

Fun facts about me:

I’m an Associate Editor at Graydon House and am based in Toronto. I have a bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Concordia Montreal, and graduated with high honors from Centennial’s Publishing certificate program. I have read for agents, edited for small presses, and contributed to the growing field of EPUB accessibility as a content certifier. When I’m not reading or editing, I can be found writing, watching cheesy musicals, or putting my art degree to good use and getting my hands dirty.

I also love baking, an elven/witchy aesthetic, black cats, video games, everything Studio Ghibli and playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends.
